HOW TO CREATE FACEBOOK ADS TO SELL YOUR PRODUCT?

The best social media platform to sell all your products is Facebook, I will take you through the step you need to follow to setup facebook ads
To Set Up An Ad On Facebook Have These Ready:
Facebook fan page
Upload video of the product you want to promote to your page
Add content that talks about the function of each product.
Add description to your page
Add means of contacting you on your fan page

To get started, log in to your Facebook account and go to
http://www.facebook.com/ads 
Then click on the blue button on the top right button that says “Create an Advert” to create your ad account Optionally, you can easily do this inside your Facebook newsfeed Once you’re logged in, check the bottom of the left sidebar and you’ll see the “CREATE Advert” link, just click on it.
Also, use the same section to create a Page, the “Page” creation link is next to that of Advert. It’s very easy; just follow the prompts Facebook will provide you to create a Fan Page and an ad account.

NOTE: to run Facebook ads, you must have either a PayPal account, Visa
Gold card, USD Mastercard, or Payoneer Card, Pay U: using your Nigeria bank account.
I usually use PayU it is easy to pay in Naira
Once it’s all created, you can always access the ad account at http://facebook.com/ads/manage
Once you log in, you’ll see the dashboard and you click on your ad account name to get into the main campaign dashboard inside the dashboard, click on the Create Campaign button

Then select your campaign objective, if you want to drive traffic to your sales pages/websites, just select “Traffic” when you want to promote your product on facebook selects “Engagement” when choosing your ad objective, you will be using video to sell your product on Facebook.


Give your campaign a name and continue

You’ll be taking to the next page where you configure your ad set, configure the target and budget of your ads.

There are 5 major things that matter when targeting your ads

Locations: this is where you get to configure exactly who see your ads and giving the Facebook is so robust, you can pencil this down to towns and cities. This means that if you want your adverts displayed to only people in Abuja, Edo, Ikeja, Portharcourt or Lagos, just enter the name of the of the town, city or country in there.

You’re not restricted to one city or one country, you can target as many as you want.
Age: this is really simple; just select the age bracket you want to target, if you’re selling product on car fuel safer then you may want to target people between the ages of 27 – 50 as those are likely people who have a car. The age you target depends on the product you’re selling.

Gender: again, this totally depends on what you’re selling.

Language: this is really not a big deal sort of except when you’re targeting non-English speaking countries or countries with multiple languages.

Detailed Targeting: this is where you drive your audience targeting keeping by focusing on their exact interests (niches) or using influencers in that niche they identify with.
Most times, you can also run a very successful campaign without even using the detailed targeting settings, it’s up to you.

When you’ve finished configuring ad target, next quickly pick your budget, leave everything else by default, you can set your targeting to as low as (500 naira) per day.
Then click on the continue and you’ll be taken to the next page where you configure your ad creative
The first step in configuring your ad creative on Facebook is to select a fan page that you’ll use to run the ad, if you don’t have a fan page yet, create one using the [+] button that appears in the “Pages” section.
Next you choose the format of your ad, as a beginning, just choose the “Single Image” format.
Since we want to advertise with video select the format that you can use to upload the video you want to use to market your product. You can also use an image but the video will convert better.

You can also boost the video once you upload it to your fan page from there you can configure your ad set.
It’s the most popular format of Facebook ads and very effective. And when using it, you can upload up to 6 different ad images to use which is really cool as you can test each ad image to see which one gets more clicks and engagement.

On the image section, click the “Upload Images” button and select up to 6 images to use.
Do not use any image that promotes violence, abuse, sexual or anything illegal, it will be disapproved. Next, enter the link you want to send traffic to…
Once you enter the link, Facebook will automatically preload a headline and text of the ad together with a live preview.

You can then edit the Headline and Text of the ads to say exactly what you want, the primary goal here is to get your audience to click on the ads and come to your website, so you have to make sure that you write persuasive stuff in your ad copy.
For this particular example, I rewrote the entire advert pitch to something I believe will perform better than the basic thing Facebook pulled in by default.
And finally, you click the “Confirm” button and publish the ad.

Your ad will be sent for review and if it follows the guidelines without breaking any policies, it will be instantly approved and you’ll start getting traffic immediately.
If it’s disapproved, reason will be stated for disapproval so that you can fix it and re-submit for approval.
